Blacknote is a brand and child company of Brainpulse Technologies Pvt Ltd, a company incorporated under the laws of India. All legal obligations, contracts, and liabilities associated with Blacknote are held by Brainpulse Technologies Pvt Ltd.
Blacknote ships all orders via a trusted third-party delivery partner. We take every precaution to ensure your records are packed securely and delivered in the condition described. Please read this policy carefully as it governs all delivery-related matters.
Orders are processed within 1–2 business days of payment confirmation. You will receive an email confirmation once your order has been packed and dispatched, along with any available tracking information. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next working business day. During peak periods, processing times may be slightly extended; we will communicate any delays proactively.
Blacknote fulfils all deliveries through a third-party logistics partner. While we make every effort to ensure timely and safe delivery, Blacknote does not directly control the operations of the delivery partner once an order has been dispatched. Any delays, rerouting, or logistical issues caused by the delivery partner are beyond our direct control, though we will always assist you in resolving such issues.
Estimated delivery times are 2–5 business days for local and metro deliveries, and 5–10 business days for other regions within India. These are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Blacknote shall not be liable for delays caused by the delivery partner, weather events, natural disasters, public holidays, or any other circumstance beyond our control.
Shipping charges, if applicable, are calculated at checkout based on your delivery location and order weight. Any applicable charges will be clearly displayed before you confirm payment. Blacknote reserves the right to revise shipping rates at any time; changes will be reflected at checkout and will not affect orders already placed.
All vinyl records are packed with rigid cardboard reinforcement, inner protective sleeves where applicable, and outer cushioning to prevent warping, corner damage, or sleeve crush during transit. We do not use plastic mailers or soft envelopes for any record shipments. Despite this, we acknowledge that transit damage may occasionally occur and will address such cases promptly per our Refund Policy.
It is your responsibility to provide a complete and accurate delivery address at the time of ordering. Blacknote shall not be liable for non-delivery or delay caused by an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer. If a delivery attempt fails due to the recipient being unavailable, the delivery partner will attempt redelivery or leave a collection notice. If an order is returned to us due to failed delivery attempts or an incorrect address, re-dispatch will be subject to an additional shipping charge.
Customers who prefer to collect in person may select the in-store collection option at checkout where available. Collection orders will be ready within 1 business day of order confirmation. You will be notified by email once your order is ready. Uncollected orders held for more than 14 days without prior communication may be subject to cancellation and restocking.
If your order has not arrived within the estimated delivery window, please contact us at hello@blacknote.co.in with your order number. We will initiate a trace with the delivery partner. If an order is confirmed lost in transit, we will offer a full refund or replacement at no additional cost. Claims for lost orders must be raised within 21 days of the dispatch date.
Blacknote does not currently offer international shipping. All orders are fulfilled within India only. We do not dispatch to addresses outside of India under any circumstances at this time.
